Bringing Wireman Alive Life in Sue's Shoes Making Big Things Happen

As a result of exceeding $1,000 worth of donations for our Indiegogo Campaign I met with Wireman artist, Cang Du this morning.  It’s been more than five years since we sat down at the drawing board.  Both Cang and I are excited to be working on Volume 3 together.  Having gathered plot suggestions from kids in Chicago, Detroit, Austin and New York City, I am re-writing the first issue to work on the plot elements our readers loved the most.  It’s very exciting.  Both Cang and I have grown as artists in the last five years.  Here Cang shows some action drawings he’s been practicing in his sketchbook.

Ask Sue Life in Sue's Shoes Making Big Things Happen

This spring, so many young people will graduate from high school and college. Recently, after my nephew Matt graduated from Goodrich High School near Flint, Michigan, his extended family (ages 5 to 93) gathered around him after dinner and each gifted him with some words of wisdom. I’m sharing them here with you to pass on to your favorite grad (or keep all for yourself). We love you, Matt, and we know you’ll be an outstanding addition to Western Michigan University
